Conifer Radio

Mark Spiroff, a management consultant and local Conifer resident for the past 17 years designed and produced Conifer radio in January of 2020, and optimistically will succeed with station operations through and beyond the pandemic.  The business plan now provides that Conifer Radio to grow organically for our first-year of operations through the direct feedback from our mountain communities.  You can listen to the station through the live-links at www.ConiferRadio.com

Conifer Radio is being developed as the area’s first Community Radio station providing a voice for Conifer, Bailey and the US Highway 285 Corridor.  Conifer Radio operates as an internet live streaming radio station and promotes our mountain communities through its programming design.  Similar to National Public Radio (Colorado Public Radio), www.ConiferRadio.com is a “non-commercial advertising” radio station where our financial support comes through underwriting by organizations of the US 285 Corridor Community (similar to NPR).  In addition to the “Old-School Alternative Classic Rock” music, the station features promotional recognitions of organizations for supporting the station’s business operations, local events and public service announcements on behalf of our mountain communities.
