Scott Metcalf Award: The Lakewood Foothills Rotary Club selected our Rotary Club of Conifer as one of two clubs to receive their 2020-21 Scott Metcalf Award for our Friends Face Masks Sewing Project. We received the for making and distributing 10,303 pandemic masks throughout the 285 community and several western U.S. tribal nations.

9Health Fair: October 16. We were asked to do another this fall, it will be called 9Health365. 2-3 folks are needed to form a planning committee with Charlotte.
Bailey Boutique: Charlotte announced their big sale coming up on August 14th.

Peach Sales: Angela –orders are doing very well. August 15th is the last day we will take orders.
Meeting Program: Michelle Bailey: Build-A-Chair program
Michelle Bailey of the Keystone International eClub, joined us via Zoom to talk about the Build A Chair Program she organized in Tanzania. They have built 42 custom wheelchairs locally, specially designed to negotiate the uneven terrain and rough roads that are there. The project is possible through a partnership of five clubs and they invite other Rotary clubs to join their effort. Only $260 is needed to build a custom wheelchair.
