Chyangba School Girls Hostel Project in Nepal
Supported by our Warren Miller Film Fundraiser and Auction
ABOUT THE CHYANGBA HOSTEL PROJECT
In a community where many girls must travel too far to school to return home the same day, being able to stay in a clean, safe, and supportive hostel is the difference that allows them to go to school at all. Using sustainable building practices, this dorm will provide sleeping rooms, a dining hall, bathrooms, and showers as well as social and learning support for 20-25 girls who would otherwise would not get an education.
The Chyangba School Girls Hostel Project has connected multiple Rotary Clubs, Interact clubs, and experienced nonprofits to raise funds needed to build and furnish the dormitory. Our Interact Club is supporting this project and the Conifer Rotary Club who sponsors us is providing our student group with multiple opportunities for cross-cultural exposure to learn about the rural Nepalese people and their culture, as well as connections to the people directly impacted by this project. We are truly grateful to be asked to respond to this need and honored to support this building project. Thank you for your support of our program.

The Interact Club of Conifer High School hosted a Warren Miller film screening in early December of 2025 and ran a concurrent auction as a fundraiser to support the construction and furnishing of a girl’s hostel (dormitory) in rural Nepal.
